Every day, we hear musical theater and pop singers performing with immense power and ease at the top of their range - but how do they do it? With the right scientific information, carefully crafted exercises, and consistent practice, anyone can learn to expand and strengthen their chest voice.

In this comprehensive and individualized class series, singers will work individually and as a group to develop their mastery of vocal technique and to deepen their connection to their belt.

The Details

• The Who

  This class series is designed for passionate and motivated performers ages 12-16 with prior musical theatre experience.

• The What

  This is an eight week, intensive group workshop that develops vocal technique for musical theatre and pop styles.

  Topics will include: anatomy of the voice, history of singing through belt, techniques for improved registration, breath engagement, expressive interpretation through vocal technique, and more.

  In addition to in-class individual and group coaching, each participant will receive custom sheet music and tracks for at least one full song that is handpicked to develop and showcase their belt technique.

  A quiet, comfortable, and connected space of your choice.
  The Zoom Meeting link will be sent to singers upon registration.

  Fridays:
  6:30pm-7:30pm ET
  5:30pm-6:30pm CT
  3:30pm-4:30pm PT

  September 23 - November 18*

  There will be no class on November 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

Meet Wesley

Wesley is a professional performer and educator, who is highly sought after for opera and musical theatre projects across the United States and abroad. An avid, lifetime student of the voice, he is most passionate about guiding students to unlock the natural freedom and power within their voices.

Wesley has served students of all ages (5-95) to elevate their vocal technique for professional theatre productions, community and school choirs, corporate meetings, doctor offices, and a variety of day-to-day communication needs.
