Musical Theatre Acting for Teens
w/ Abby C. Smith

The Curriculum

  • Bring a familiar song to class and share it with the group. In these first three weeks, you’ll dig deep into your chosen piece, refining acting technique while unlocking stronger, more specific dramatic choices that elevate your storytelling. Need help picking your first piece? Reach out to us at info@wdstudio.org!

  • After a two-week break to practice and reset, you’ll return ready to tackle a song personally selected by Abby to stretch your range, artistry, and confidence. This phase challenges you to apply everything you’ve learned to new material, expanding your repertoire and sharpening your audition-ready skills.

  • It’s showtime! You’ll share your polished work in a performance-style setting that celebrates your growth, confidence, and commitment, leaving you with material that’s ready for auditions, recitals, and beyond.
