Jack Commits to NYU Tisch!

Congratulations to WD Studio singer Jack on committing to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts!

After a year of dedicated audition prep and an intense fall audition season, Jack has been accepted to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has officially accepted his place in the Class of 2030, where he will pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theatre.

The Drama program at Tisch offers four years of intensive training across a wide range of disciplines including: acting, musical theatre, production, design, theatrical management, and directing. By the time Jack completes his undergraduate degree, he will have developed a diverse skill set which will qualify him to pursue a career in many different fields within the dramatic arts.

The acting programs at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts are extremely selective, accepting less than 10% of applicants. It’s incredibly exciting that Jack will be one of them!

Behind this milestone is an extraordinary amount of preparation and dedication. College auditions at this level require months of focused work, including the preparation of prescreen videos featuring multiple contrasting songs and monologues, learning and filming multiple dance combinations, completing a rigorous academic application, and traveling to various cities for live auditions and callbacks. Each step demands not only artistic excellence but consistency, resilience, and professionalism.

Jack’s acceptance is a reflection of the hard work he has put in over the past seven years at WD Studio. Through sustained training, thoughtful coaching, and a deep commitment to his craft, he has grown into a disciplined, expressive, and versatile artist. This achievement marks a major milestone in his artistic journey, and we could not be more proud of him.

We’re so excited for this next step and can’t wait to see where it leads!
