WD Studio Singers Accepted to All-State Choir!

Studio singers Emersyn Moskal, Jack Wielar, and Ella Onur have been selected to join the prestigious Virginia All-State Choir! This choir brings together the top high school vocalists from across the state to perform complex choral ensembles, showcasing the highest level of musical talent.

Auditions for Virginia All-State Choir are highly competitive and demand focused preparation. During the audition process, singers are tasked with performing a prepared excerpt, sight-reading a challenging piece of music, and demonstrating their mastery of vocal technique through scales. Auditions are evaluated by a panel of judges, who score each performer on a scale from 0 to 100 based on several key criteria: intonation, rhythmic accuracy, vocal quality, diction, and overall musicality.

Our students performed exceptionally during their auditions, earning impressive scores across all categories. Their performances have earned them well-deserved placements in this elite choir, highlighting their hard work, talent, and commitment to excellence. We are incredibly proud of Emersyn, Jack, and Ella for their achievements and look forward to seeing them represent our studio in the Virginia All-State Choir!
